I'm back from my summer hiatus of posting. It was a very busy summer, and I was playing 2-3 times a week...at least. Today I spent some time going through the CSO's schedule for the year. I got as far as January of 2006 when I realized there are hardly any decent concerts to be interested in this year. It's pretty depressing seeing a "world-class" orchestra play simple things and fill the role of (mostly) an accompanist. Perhaps I need to start re-reviewing the easy pieces......
